Dear Daniel, dear Petra and dear surfers,
I would be very interested to know if you have/had in the past any experience with how to translate the tool box we acquire from the brief coaching into a business consulting environment.
I'll try to explain a bit better: my daily business in my current position includes offering consulting about Learning topics (where I am the expert and "the clients" want to find the best solution for their specific cases). I am trying to develop a more active "listening" ear to their needs (coaching already helped a lot with this!) but I am wondering if I can even get deeper on focusing on the customer needs. Maybe creating a list of "solution focused questions" I could use in a typical consulting conversation? I would love a little input on this (unless this is something completely unrealistic :))
I struggle with the point where I am (as an expert on the matter) the one who should provide an answer, but I would really like to work more with the client to get to a solution "together", if you know what I mean.
I hope you can make some sense of it :) and I would be grateful for any example or insight!
Thank you so much,
